What is worth buying these days?

If you all think about the gaming systems that keep coming out these days you will notice that they have prices that are compatible with some other items that are similar in the price range but can do more things for you.


For Instance the Xbox360 elite(must buy so you won't get the rings of death) is around $499 dollars[tax not in number yet] is the same price for a decent computer that you could buy. An xbox 360 you can go on the net but you can only play games. There fore you could just buy a computer since you can chat,email,talk to people, play games, get work done and play music and do anything else. The ps3 is around the same range as xbox 360 price so that would be 399-500 dollars. The wii price is around 200-500?.


Now my question to everyone else out there reading the forum. What do you think is worth paying for if you can have a choice between these following items and why? The following items are a computer, ps3,xbox360,wii,psp,ds, or something that is around the same range as 100-700 dollars.
